Welcome to The Recycled Home Company (RHC). We are located on the 1st and 3rd floors of the 1016 1st Avenue building located in the heart of downtown Seattle between Madison & Spring Streets across from Aveda and Northface Stores, 4 blocks south of Pike Place Market and just a block from the ferry terminal to Bremerton and Bainbridge Island. The Recycled Home Company! What is it? No. It doesn't mean that our furniture is made of all recycled material (we do often get that question). Basically it is recycling, or re-using pre-owned furniture instead of always buying new. We do sell some new furniture, mainly vendor specials, closeouts, or scratch & dent items (most of which is listed in our "contemporary" category). This helps us control our inventory selection. We also sell both new and clean pre-owned mattresses. We also have a buy back program for most of our new and used furniture. We are very selective about what we buy and consign. You will find that we offer a variety of genres for all budgets. We are now offering the following merchandise and services:
